garrett mauer
Principal
Garrett started his career with a degree in mechanical engineering and has spent the majority of his time in construction with a bit of semiconductor manufacturing. He transitioned from commercial to residential construction, and hasn’t looked back. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching Austin FC.
brooke mauer
Finance & Administration
Brooke has a background in finance, banking, and public education. Here at Neon Agave Homes, she handles the accounting, procurement and office operations. When not managing budgets or keeping the team organized, Brooke enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and decorating cakes.
jeremy johnson
Project Manager
Jeremy spent much of his life in design and advertising before finding his place in the home building industry. As a project manager for Neon Agave Homes, he works closely with both clients and subcontractors to make sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. On his days off you can find him exploring Texas and painting.

A FAMILY BUSINESS
In 2010, we used Garrett’s engineering expertise to try our hand at the Austin house-flipping market. We fueled our endeavor with successful renovations and sold homes. We learned a lot from those first projects and had fun along the way.
Aside from learning the ins-and-outs of the residential construction business, we realized that our new found career was more than just moving walls and making things pretty. We were creating a home for a family, just like our own. From renovating homes for friends to building homes for new clients, we are now a full-service residential construction company. We are forever grateful to the many friends and clients who entrusted us with their beautiful homes.
